The World Becomes Stranger
Martín Molinero

Martín Molinero's statement

[…] As we grow older / The World Becomes Stranger, the pattern more complicated / Of dead and living. Not the intense moment / Isolated, with no before and after, / But a lifetime burning in every moment / And not the lifetime of one man only / But of old stones that cannot be deciphered. // There is a time for the evening under starlight, / A time for the evening under lamplight / (The evening with the photograph album).[T. S. Eliot, Four Quartets, East Coker, 370-379]

This set of photos is part of an ongoing project which at first began as a sort of visual diary or notebook. For the time being, it is conceived as an attempt to build —following the Eliot’s verses— a photograph album for future evenings under the lamplight.
