Jean-Luc Bertini

Ivry-sur-Seine, Ivry-sur-Seine

Born in the Paris region in 1969. Bumpy academic career. Followed by five years of Modern Literature Studies. Renaissance. My study interests become in turn poetry, painting and anthropology. However I turn to photography. New enchantment. Professional now for about twenty years. I work mainly for the French press and some foreign titles (Le Monde, Libération, 180°C, Télérama, L’Express, Elle, L’Obs’, Le Figaro Magazine, Citizen K, Rolling Stones, Sterne, Expresso…). In parallel with my commissioned work, I am pursuing several long-term projects that often lead me travel from east to west.
I have published 3 books :
Solovki, la bibliothèque Perdue, Editions Le Bec en l’air (2014)
Amérique, des écrivains en liberté, Albin Michel (2016)
Américaines Solitudes, Actes Sud (2020)
