Yoshiyuki Yatsuda's statement
This series didn’t start with a special concept or message to convey. Rather than shooting while thinking, it is better if there is something that triggers a strong sense. With that in mind, I walked the suburbs that were left behind time.
There was a strong personality that was unforgettable. The superficial brightness of a deserted restaurant with uncertainties, the building showing an excessively self-imposing landlord, suspicious and attractive store decoration even past the peak, etc.
I captured the sensational scene that was left behind.
I decided to call this series “Unforgettable”.
